Dog Collar Photo

Last week the studio was asked by a new designer, Hibou,  to shoot 15 dog collars, front and back. These photos will be used for their website-to-be and look book.

The owner wanted a very natural, simple look. We photographed these on a white background and elevated the collars on acrylic cubes. Then in post production the cubes were removed.

It was an all day shoot and the client was very happy!

Photos of Children's Books and Dolls

It has been awhile since I have posted to this blog because lots of work has crossed the studio's path. The photo above is an example of a job that was worked on for MerryMakers Inc, a creator of dolls for children's books. They asked the studio to photograph, style and retouch 35 dolls and books for their website.

In total it was a 4 day job, 2 days photographing and 2 days retouching. The products were set up with a white backdrop, a few Broncolor heads, a soft box, some reflectors and a few pieces of white foamcore. After the client approved the styling/lighting of the first shot the rest of the images were photographed then retouched then submitted via a 9 page .pdf for final approval.

All in all I am very happy with the results. If you'd like to see more photos that were created for this job you may at

If you know anyone who would like their products photographed, referrals are always appreciated.
